Welcome to 31 Days of Horror Figures 2019. For the month of October, we will be spotlighting the very best of the macabre, bizarre, monstrous, and villainous action figures the industry has to offer. There will be both old and new figures here and perhaps even a significance to why we picked that figure for that day (and perhaps not). This is NOT a ranking list, just full-blown horror fun for the greatest month of the year.
When we saw the NECA 8-inch clothed figures of the three Trick R Treaters from Halloween III at Toy Fair we lost our shit. Seriously, we never expected to see action figures from this bastard child of the Halloween franchise. Sadly, they will not arrive for this Halloween season but will bring us seasonal cheer in the gloom of January.
We love Halloween III here. It is a crazy film that defies logic (especially the ending) in what could have been a fantastic departure from the Michael Myers storyline. It was not meant to be, but as the years go on, and new horror films fail to grab audiences, this film gains more and more followers. Thank you, NECA. Between the multiple heads, the TV set, and the trick r treat bags you nailed it.
