Welcome to 31 Days of Horror Figures 2019. For the month of October, we will be spotlighting the very best of the macabre, bizarre, monstrous, and villainous action figures the industry has to offer. There will be both old and new figures here and perhaps even a significance to why we picked that figure for that day (and perhaps not). This is NOT a ranking list, just full-blown horror fun for the greatest month of the year.
NECA has released another Michael Myers only this one is for the now-debunked Halloween II. You have to give it to Rick Rosenthal, the director, for picking up where John Carpenter left off in the first one. I particularly like the TV cut which dives into the plot that Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is Laurie Myers. Not to mention the spirit of Halloween driving Michael. Though, now, the film does look bad with Jamie Lee Curtis wig, but the low budget and atmosphere still makes it for a fun Halloween movie.
As for the figure, the box is outstanding, bravo NECA. The figure also has two additional heads to bring this version of Michael to life. Yet, it the pumpkin that we truly love above all. This figure is now found at Target in the NECA section.
The trailer for Halloween II (1981) is below. Check out the full list of figures as it evolves HERE.
