Welcome to AFJ's 31 Days of Horror Figures. For the month of October, we will be spotlighting the very best of the macabre, bizarre, monstrous, and villainous action figures the industry has to offer. There will be both old and new figures here and perhaps even a significance to why we picked that figure for that day (and perhaps not). This is NOT a ranking list, just full blown horror fun for the greatest month of the year. #AFJ4LIFE

Junkies, we are sorry, this one comes a day late as Night of the Demons was released yesterday in 1988. Since we went with Pumpkinhead (also released the same day) we thought a follow up would be okay for the horror aficionados.

Night of the Demons is far from a perfect Horror film. What is appealing is its set up. A group of high schoolers, who look nothing but, head to Hull House, an isolated funeral parlor, to have their own Halloween party. The guys go because the girls are hot and thus opens the door for a chance to get laid. After a seance, demons start possessing the high schoolers and then all hell breaks loose. Nothing too out of the ordinary there. So why did we spotlight Angela then?

First up, NECA and Scream Factory teamed upped to give Horror fans what they really wanted. Recently, Scream Factory released a collector's edition of NOTD on Blu-ray for the first time. Now, with the steel book release, NECA crafted Angela for the fans of this dark film. This is not the first time NECA has gone above and beyond for the fans, nor is this the last time they have teamed with Scream Factory (check out the Silent Deadly Night Part 2 Deluxe Edition, Limited to 2000 copies coming soon). AFJ fully supports this type of collaboration and hopes that one day we get a Dog Soldiers (already released, no steel book though) release or perhaps something from Creepshow (due out 10-23-18) and either one of those films gets a NECA figure.

Until then, pay attention to Scream Factory, NECA, and AFJ because not only do we report on action figures of this nature, we fully support the fine work and films that Scream Factory releases.

See the film's trailer below and check out AFJ's full list of figures as it evolves HERE.
