Welcome to AFJ's 31 Days of Horror Figures. For the month of October, we will be spotlighting the very best of the macabre, bizarre, monstrous, and villainous action figures the industry has to offer. There will be both old and new figures here and perhaps even a significance to why we picked that figure for that day (and perhaps not). This is NOT a ranking list, just full blown horror fun for the greatest month of the year. #AFJ4LIFE

The resurgence fo Stephen King's "IT" came as a complete surprise to everyone. Certainly, the 1990 TV movie had its cult following. A following that put Tim Curry's Pennywise in the pantheon of terrifying clowns ever to grace pop culture. Today, we celebrate both Tim Curry's Pennywise as well as NECA's brilliant rendition of the character.

Again, NECA has brought their master craftsmanship to this 7-inch action figure. What further cemented this as a must-have for AFJ was the box. Complete in the style of the VHS 2 tape collection that sat haunting our local video store. NECA also went so far as to include multiple faces (see below) of Pennywise and additional "monster" hands (to the right) to add to the nightmare that Stephen King put on paper.

If you are a fan of the new film IT (2017), fear not, as there is a Pennywise in the likeness that Bill Skarsgård terrified us with. Oh, and there is a GameStop exclusive version of him as well. Sorry, we are an action figure website and had to point that out. Spoiler, that Pennywise did not make our last this year, however, we feel that Pennywise will probably make 2019's list as IT: Chapter 2 is slated for release then. "Old" Pennywise here will float on the "31 Days of Horror Figures" until that day comes.

See the film's trailer below and check out AFJ's full list of figures as it evolves HERE.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
