Welcome to AFJ's 31 Days of Horror Figures. For the month of October, we will be spotlighting the very best of the macabre, bizarre, monstrous, and villainous action figures the industry has to offer. There will be both old and new figures here and perhaps even a significance to why we picked that figure for that day (and perhaps not). This is NOT a ranking list, just full blown horror fun for the greatest month of the year. #AFJ4LIFE

There are several different versions of Benicio Del Toro’s Lawrence Talbot Wolfman in action figure form. The one and only, for this Junkie, it is the 12-inch bloody variant from Mezco Toyz. Big, bad, bloody, beautiful and completely worth decorating your home during the season.

As far as the movie goes, directed by Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger), the theatrical release is a mess. With that being said, seek out the Universal release that has the director's cut. It is leaps and bounds over what you saw in the theater. It is not perfect, but enjoyable. It's sad that Universal Studios has tried so many times to launch their monster universe and they keep failing. This, the director's cut, was a good start. Who knows, perhaps Benicio Del Toro will return. Anything is possible. Just like your chance of finding this awesome 12-inch Wolfman on the secondary market. FYI there is a 7-inch version out there too.

See the film's trailer below and check out AFJ's full list of figures as it evolves HERE.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
