Rick and Morty fans, rejoice!
Today, we have the glorious news from show co-creator, Justin Roiland, that there will be 70 more episodes of Rick and Morty. Fans have been wondering for months, following the season three finale, when Adult Swim would finally renew the masterpiece of interdimensional television for a fourth season. Fans were getting antsy waiting, but I don’t know how many really believed that the massively popular show would not get picked up.
Last we saw our dimension-hopping heroes, the family is back together, and Mr. Poopybutthole promised us it would be a long time before season 4 (a call back to his season 2 reveal that it would be a year and a half before we saw season 3, and that came true). Will Evil Morty be the big bad of the season after taking over the Council of Ricks? Will we see the Vindicators again? Or will the show continue to give us new, crazy adventures that we will never see coming?
But, here we have it, confirmation of our wishes; we are one of the universes that get to enjoy 70 more episodes of Rick and Morty! This is complete with a shower video on Dan Harmon’s Instagram (Co-Creator of the show), and a back-to-back live-stream of all Rick and Morty episodes on the Adult Swim website.
It’s not 97 more years of the show, but I think I can settle for 70 more episodes! Where do you think season 4 will pick up, Junkies? Let me know in the comments below! And Check back for more Rick and Morty news, in the meantime: Stay Schwifty!
