Early on Wednesday, CBS All Access teased Star Trek fans with their very first image of Michelle Yeoh as Captain Philippa Georgiou and Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael in the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery. Just a few hours later, CBS All Access unveiled a trailer, more images, and key art.

What we do know now is that Klingons will feature heavily into the story, it will feature 15 episodes, 2 more than the previously promised 13, and will be complemented by a companion after-show, Talking Trek, to be presented on CBS All Access.

Star Trek: Discovery will feature Michelle Yeoh as Captain Philippa Georgiou, Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham, Jason Isaacs as Captain Lorca, James Frain as Spock’s father, Sarek; Doug Jones as Lt. Saru, a Starfleet Science Officer and member of a new alien species in the Star Trek universe; and Anthony Rapp as Lt. Stamets. The new series was created by Bryan Fuller, Alex Kurtzman, and its executive producer is long time Star Trek alumni Nicholas Meyer.

Synopsis: Before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise there was Discovery. Now, one of the most iconic and influential global franchises returns to television with Star Trek: Discovery. The CBS All Access Original Series arrives this Fall.
