Peter Capaldi is about to take us out on another season of Doctor Who, his final one too. The Doctor and his fifty plus years of adventures were previously very light on toys. The re-launch, ushered in by Christopher Eccleston, made Doctor Who a force to be reckoned with. Since then the onslaught of toys has never stopped. We here at Action Figure Junkies have picked “10 MORE MUST HAVE DOCTOR WHO FIGURES”.

DOCTOR WHO PREMIERES SATURDAY, APRIL 15 AT 9/8C, FOLLOWED BY THE SERIES PREMIERE OF CLASS AT 10:10/9:10C

10. The Editor
Episode: The Long Game (2005)
Yes, Simon Pegg was on Doctor Who and of course, we need his figure.

9. Vespiform

Episode: The Unicorn and the Wasp (2008)
Not a particularly thrilling episode but we are suckers for giant build-a-figure bad guys.

8. Professor River SongEpisode: Silence in the Library (2008)
She has appeared in several adventures of Doctor Who and with three different Doctors. This is her very first figure.

7. Captain Jack HarknessEpisode: Torchwood – Everything Changes (2006)
Here is probably the best Captain Jack Harkness (with the Doctor’s severed hand in a jar) to date. Will Captain Jack return this season? Will Torchwood?

6. Dalek DroneEpisode: Victory of the Daleks (2010)
This Dalek redesign was inspired by the Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies (Dr. Who and the Daleks, 1965 and Daleks’ Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D., 1966). An awesome tribute if ever there was one.

5. The Doctor (11th)Episode: The Eleventh Hour (2010)
Here is Matt Smith in all his glory as the 11th Doctor. He not only made the part his own but earned the fan’s respect as well.

4.Weeping Angels VariantsEpisode: Blink (2007)
The Weeping Angels have made the list before (in 2009). Now there are variants of the figure which only add to the horror and our collection. “Don’t even blink!”

3. Earthshock CybermanEpisode: Earthshock (1982)
It is great that they are making older likenesses of the Cybermen. This one here was our first encounter with these baddies. It is still our favorite Cyberman.

2. Dalek IronsideEpisode: Victory of the Daleks (2010)
Why wouldn’t you need a WW2 Dalek? When the second ‘Victory of the Daleks’ was over, we were Google searching for this toy.

1. Christmas Adventure SetEpisode: Christmas Adventure (2010)
What could be better than getting the Doctor (repaint variant with striped jacket), Amy and the Tardis in one box set? Here is the new essential Doctor Who playset.
