In celebration of Star Wars Day, May the Fourth, AFJ is looking back at Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Yes, that great series that truly brought fans what they wanted to see, The Clone Wars. AFJ decided to encompass both the series by Dave Filoni and the micro series by Genndy Tartakovsky. The Clone Wars kept Star Wars alive for years after the prequels had ended. It also delivered some incredible toys. May the Fourth be With You.

10. Unleashed Clone Trooper Variant by Hasbro
The original Clone Trooper came in an all white uniform and this variant appeared with the red stripes. If you were a fan of the Star Wars: Battlefront video game, you knew these were the marks of a sniper. Perhaps I spent too long on the battlefield, but this statue/ figure is one of the best from the line. He stands there over his fallen brother ready to carry on the fight.

9. Clone Wars ARC-170 by Hasbro
This retro version of the X-Wing is a great reminder of the dog fighters that inspired George Lucas, to begin with. Did you miss this one when it hit the stores? Your best bet is to try the secondary market. Good luck because they are pricey.

8. Tiger Shark Gunship by Hasbro
This is a variant on the original gunship that emerged between the two different animated series. The figures for this line had no imagination and were practically unposeable. The gunship, on the other hand, is one of the true gems from the collection.

7. Clone Wars Y-wing Bomber by Hasbro
There is a good chance that you saw the Y-wing Bomber at the toy store. There is also a great chance you saw the price for it, too. Regardless, one cannot ignore the sleek, brand new design that foreshadows the Y-wings we all know.

6. Star Wars: Battle Front 2 by LucasArts
Are video games toys anymore? I’m not sure. However, there hasn’t been a game since that truly made you feel as if you were living in the Star Wars universe. Whether you play as a Clone or a Battle Droid, you really do live the Star Wars experience. When will we see the next Battle Fronts game?

5. Captain Rex by Sideshow Collectibles
There isn’t anyone who believes in what he is fighting for more than Captain Rex. He was the true highlight of The Clone Wars animated film. Sideshow Collectibles truly brings this animated character to life with its portrayal of Temuera Morrison as Rex.

4. Clone Wars Cad Bane Maquette by Gentle Giant Ltd
Since Episode 2 Boba Fett could only be seen as a bratty kid. This took the cool factor of the Star Wars bounty hunters down a notch. All that changed at the end of season 1 of The Clone Wars when Cad Bane came on the scene.

3. Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker by Lego
Lego took The Clone Wars series to the next level. What is truly amazing about this set, besides the scale and scope, is that Hasbro hasn’t produced it yet. Just looking at it is enough to drive any Star Wars/ Lego fan crazy.

2. AT-TE (All Terrain All Tactical Enforcer) by Hasbro
Who doesn’t love big toys? This is one of the biggest to emerge from Hasbro in The Clone Wars line. It is the perfect headquarters/ battlefield accessory and it gives a real sense of scale to all those action figures that need a rallying point.

1. Star Wars The Clone Wars (Tartakovsky Series) Figures by Hasbro
The complete action figure line from the 2003 series by Genndy Tartakovsky is breathtaking. Not only are they perfect embodiments of their cartoon counterparts, but they reminded us just how powerful Star Wars is in any medium.
