All Junkies love a good looking pre-order and we've gone through all of the big retail sites to pick the TOP 10 of the month just for you guys. Prepare to open your wallets and break out the plastic but not to worry, most sites don't charge you until the item ships! Although there is always the danger of being "Pre-Sold Out" so I suggest jumping on these as early as possible. Our number one pick is not actually officially up for Pre-Order just yet but when you see it, you'll know just why it had to be out #1! So, prepare to see what you'll be spending your hard earned cash over the next couple of months. Good luck Junkies and May the Force be with You!
10. DIAMOND SELECT BACK TO THE FUTURE 30TH ANNIVERSARY MINIMATES 1885, 1985, 2015 BOX SETS
For anyone that follows the AFJ website or the Facebook page, you know my deep love for the Back to the Future series. While I am a die-hard Star Wars nut as well, BTTF has always been my thing. Time travel has just always been my thing from the time I saw the original film 30 years ago in August of 1985. It has been my quest to acquire all things Marty & Doc and trust me, the BTTF fans are just as nuts as the Jedi & Sith roaming the toy aisles. Thankfully, Diamond Select keeps the dream alive with a steady flow of new products. To honor the 30th anniversary of the original movie, we get not one but three sets of Minimates from Parts I, II & III. We get some awesome characters that we've never seen before in any kind of figure form including the debut of NEEDLES!! There will be the 2015 set in January with Griff Tannen, Marlene McFly, Marty McFly, Jr. & a two-tie wearing Marty, Sr.! 9. DIAMOND SELECT GHOSTBUSTERS (SERIES 1)
Finally! It took years of dealing with MATTEL's CLUB ECTO-1 and outrageous prices for someone to finally pick up the coveted GHOSTBUSTERS license. Thank the toy Gods that it was Diamond Select and the ridiculous attention to detail. These beauties are finally hitting the big retail websites to be released in January of 2016. The first ones to be released are going to Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, and Louis Tully in 7-inch scale. The first two are virtual doppelgängers of Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson but unfortunately, they could not get the likeness permission of retired actor Rick Moraines. No worries though, it is still pretty damn good. The figures come with an amazing 16 points of articulation and are equipped with character-specific accessories. The detailed sculpts usurp the old CLUB ECTO-1 figures and are sure to become the new gold standard in GHOSTBUSTERS figures. Also, each of these figures will include a diorama piece and once you have all 12 figures being released, you'll be able to build the epic rooftop battle scene from the finale of the film! Awesome! You can get the first three figures for a steal at just $65.99 on EntertainmentEarth.com. PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1Ih3Xtw
8. DC COLLECTIBLES FLASH TV SERIES REVERSE FLASH ACTION FIGURE
I absolutely love The Flash on The CW. I have watched Season 1 countless times and have already watched the first half of Season 2 over and over on HULU. It is an incredibly sharply written and composed narrative that has me on the edge of my seat every Tuesday night. If I had to pick a DC character TV program that is the best, The Flash runs away with it. Pun intended! The main villain of Season 1 was the Reverse Flash and he was a total badass. Both The Flash and Captain Cold have already been released but 2016 will bring more of the villains that I have been hoping for and in April, Reverse Flash will finally be released. Coming from DC Collectibles in a beautiful window box package with multiple points of articulation, a base and standing at close to 7-inches tall, the Reverse Flash also includes alternate pairs of hands and that dope looking Tachyon Particle device. Cannot wait for this one and its a bargain at just $22.99. PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1LFU43f
7. DC SUPERFRIENDS SERIES 1 THE WONDER TWINS WITH GLEEK 8-INCH RETRO ACTION FIGURE SET (FIGURES TOY COMPANY)
Figures Toy Company is a toy outfit that I did not discuss until this past year when I purchased their '66 BATMAN TV Batman & Robin figures. UNBELIEVABLE! Top of the line figures with real cloth costumes, hard clamshell casing and a throwback feel of the figures from when I was a kid. So much fun that I am always on the watch for their new releases. So when I heard that they were releasing this awesome set of two Super Friends characters from the landmark old school cartoon. And they threw in Gleek for good measure because what are the Wonder Twins without Gleek? Zan and Jayna have always been "B-List" characters but in my eyes have always been sleeper characters that everyone has always wanted but just never voiced it. The brother and sister stand at a lanky 8-inches each but no word on just how big Gleek stands. But who cares, its Gleek! Besides the set from SDCC a few years ago, this is the first iteration made in good long time. For just $79.99, you can pick this three pack up from EntertainmentEarth to be delivered in January 2016. PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1jqz4XK FORM OF AN ICE MENORAH!!
6. JUDGE DREDD 1:12 SCALE ACTION FIGURE WITH LAWMASTER MOTORCYCLE--PREVIEWS EXCLUSIVE (MEZCO)
Next up is an amazing piece from Mez and the minds over at MEZCO. I have been waiting for this one for some time now and it is pretty damn epic. At number six, we have Mega City One's most notorious Judge where law is in the hands of iconic JUDGE DREDD! This Previews Exclusive from MEZCO may be on the pricey side (the set retails for $259.99, but you can always buy each piece separately to spread out your green and I like that Mex and the gang offer that option), but it is really worth every damn penny. The ONE: 12 Collective Series started with their TDKR Batman was majorly impressive with some of the finest attention to detail I have ever seen on a high end figure. Imagine the old style MEGO figures but super advanced for the 21st Century. Dread comes with a comic book accurate digitally sculpted likeness with a specially silkscreened spandex uniform with a real working zipper. The Lawmaster Cycle is insane with an amazing slew of features including:
- 3 separate FX activated front guns with lights and sounds (cannon, machine gun and grenade launcher)
- 2 FX activated motor sounds (start up/rev and motor wind out/gear change)
- 9 working lights (4 headlights, 3 taillights, 1 spot light and a computer display)
- Real rubber-slick tires
- Storage to hold hand cuffs
- Free-rolling wheels
- Turnable handle bars
- Comic-accurate detailing designed in cooperation with artist Ben Willsher

5. DC COMICS DESIGNER SERIES ACTION FIGURES BY LEE BERMEJO (DC COLLECTIBLES)
Superstar artist Lee Bermejo FINALLY throws his hat into the action figure ring. We have had his amazing statues for several years but they are a little cha-ching unless money is no object. Now you can take a piece of Bermejo's brilliant art him for just $22.99 a pop! The first wave of Lee Bermejo designed figures are going to include DC Comics staples Batman, Superman, Green Lantern & Lex Luthor. All four of the figures stand at solid 7-inches tall and each comes with a set of interchangeable hands. All but Superman come with an extra accessory that includes: a Batarang for Batman, a Power Battery for Green Lantern and a suitcase for megalomaniacal tycoon Lex Luthor. These are some of the nicest DC figures I have seen in a while and to me, they easily outdo the new DC ICONS series. A must-have for Bermejo comic book fans and here's hoping this is just the first wave of many! PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1kZGVgD
4. NETFLIX DAREDEVIL POP! VINYL FIGURES (FUNKO)
The NETFLIX smash Daredevil is finally getting some figure love in the form of the ridiculously popular POP! Vinyl figures from FUNKO. POP's are everywhere these days and getting the nod from FUNKO to be made in this figure form is a tip of the hat that your property is an official hit. While I am still waiting to see who is going to make the 6-inch figures for the series (I'm looking at you NECA), the POP's will have to suffice for now. And I couldn't be any happier! Getting all four of these is a no brainer and the set includes: Daredevil Red Suit, Daredevil Masked Vigilante, Daredevil Matt Murdock & Wilson Fisk. At $9.99 and due in March 2016, I am already making space on my shelf for the whole set. PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1N87Blg
3. MAFEX (MIRACLE ACTION FIGURE EX) BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE ACTION FIGURES
Finally! Just released and up for Pre-Order are some of the first high-end action figures from Zack Snyder's upcoming blockbuster Batman VS. Superman: Dawn of Justice. MAFEX does not mess around when it comes to their figures and the same goes for these two iconic characters. Regardless of how the film does at the box office, I am really starting to dig the way that the film costumes are translating from the screen into figure form. These babies stand at about 6.3 inches apiece and both figures comes with cloth capes and an articulated figure stand. Batman has a set of interchangeable hands and an assortment of weapons. Superman also has hands that swap out but no other bells and whistles as of this posting. I am loving the way these MAFEX figures are kind of a hybrid of old school MEGO (cloth capes) and 21st-century digital likenesses of Cavill & Affleck. Very impressed. These will only set you back $54.99 apiece which I think is a pretty epic Kryptonian & Gothamish bargain. PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1IqP02G
2. TERMINATOR 2 ULTIMATE T-1000 7-INCH SCALE ACTION FIGURE (NECA)
The entire month of November has been all about NECA and their DC line. Junkies seems to be giving out their first born and cashing in their 401K's for a NECA Christopher Reeve Superman. Why? Because NECA knows what they are doing and what the fans want, no, need. And they do it at an affordable cost. I reviewed their John Matrix Commando figure as well as their Ultimate T-800 figure earlier this month and those were absolute home runs from top to bottom. Now, they are bringing one of my all-time favorite big screen villains to market. Robert Patrick's breakout role as the liquid metal T-1000 hellbent on erasing John Connor from the timeline will now be available in 7-inch plastic awesomeness. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of James Cameron's epic film T2: Judgment Day, it wouldn't be a NECA figure if it didn't have a ton of bells & whistles. And I do mean a ton. The Ultimate T-1000 is not only equipped with the authorized likeness of actor Robert Patrick but also comes with a whopping 30 points of articulation. That's not a misprint, 30 POINTS OF ARTICULATION! If that were not enough, it is locked and loaded with accessories that include 11 interchangeable parts (3 heads, 2 forearms, 5 hands, 1 battle-damaged shirt front), and a pistol accessory with an actual usable holster. And let's not forget NECA's signature window box packaging with the opening velcro flap making it perfect for display for the MIB crowd as well as the openers. For just $22.99 and due in March of 2016, this is at the top of my gotta haves for the new year. Plus NECA's based in Jersey and so is AFJ so you gotta love 'em! PRE-ORDER HERE: http://bit.ly/1lRrk2G
1. STAR WARS BLACK SERIES THE FORCE AWAKENS HAN SOLO (HASBRO)
While it is not yet up for Pre-Order and there is no word yet when it is going to be released, how can the galaxies most famous space pirate, scoundrel and nerf herder not be at the top of AFJ'S TOP 10 PRE-ORDERS? I think it is fair to say that this is the greatest likeness to Harrison Ford on any figure of this size ever made. The screen icon is now 73 but will most definitely be a big reason why a lot of asses will be in the seats come December 18th. We should all hope to be as great shape at 73 years old and STILL playing a character that has inspired dozens of big-time series and films over the last almost 40 years. Running around and still at the helm of the Millennium Falcon, this action figure is going to be highly coveted and even more so if it is located before the holidays. Then there will be a real frenzy to have this under the tree and away from the menorah flames for all of the fans that have waited 33 years to see Han friggin' Solo back on the big screen. Why is he number one? Because he's Han friggin' Solo! In the words of his other iconic character, " it's not the years, its the mileage." However, one look at Ford and you know that he still throws the greatest punches in movie history. Thank you, Mr. Ford, for keeping the dream alive and getting back behind the controls of the Falcon after all this time. We wouldn't have it any other way. As far as making it to #1 on AFJ'S TOP 10 PRE-ORDERS, we are pretty sure that Ford would simply say, "Never tell me the odds!"
