Best known for his role as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, Pedro Pascal, is in negotiations for the title character in Disney+ (the new streaming service) new live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian. The series, helmed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), will take place after the fall of the Empire (via the events of Return of the Jedi) and have directors such as Dave Filoni (Star Wars: Rebels), Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), and Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones) helming episodes.
What we also know that Carl Weathers (Rocky Saga) has been cast in an unnamed role.
