WONDER WOMAN SEQUEL TEASED

Back in March, we started to learn more details about the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel set for November 1st, 2019, like Kristen Wiig being cast as Cheetah (Wiig and Gal Gadot were actually in Date Night (2010) together). We know Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones. RIP) is cast with no character attached yet, and we heard a rumor that Lynda Carter (known for playing Wonder Woman in the 70s) would be in the movie.
The news to fall out from behind the veil that guards Themyscira today is the header image that changed on twitter for both Patty Jenkins (Director) and Geoff Johns (DC Entertainment President).

Sound off Junkies, will Wonder Woman be battling Cheetah during the height of the Cold War? What are your theories? #AFJ4LIFE

The Wonder Woman sequel is slated for November 1st2019.

My first reaction to the title was a call back to the book 1984. Which meant to me, a more “big brother” government espionage type movie like Captain America 2. But that is my first reaction.
