Variety is reporting that FX has ordered a pilot adaptation of Brian K. Vaughn's and Pia Guerra's Y: The Last Man. The seminal comic revolves around a plague that wipes out every Y chromosome on the planet save two, Yorick Brown and his Capuchin monkey, Ampersand. The story begins with Yorick on a quest to find his fiance, Beth, who is in Australia. The comic is a great exploration of gender roles and what the world would come to with no men in it. The comic was launched by DC Comics in 2002 and ran for 60 issues.
Frankly, we cannot wait! #AFJ4LIFE
