Good morning, Junkies!  Welcome back to Saturday Morning Cereal and Cartoons.  This morning we are immersing ourselves in Star Trek: The Animated Series, “Beyond the Farthest Star.”  The Good News:  I love this show.  The Bad News:  I am going to binge watch eight billion episodes.  The crew has just discovered an abandoned alien ship which seems to have some ominous quasi-life form presence attached to it.  An eery symbiotic relationship is established after they beam down onto the abandoned ship.

Editor's Note:
Full episodes of the Animated Series are available on CBS All Access and Netflix.

For whatever reason, Junkies, I am quite drawn to their weapons.  Perhaps it is because I am currently hunting down Toxic Crusader accessories, namely weapons, and I am more apt to notice accessories or weaponry now.  I cannot be sure, but this show is amazing.  The alien ship’s technology is purported to have survived for six-million years after the previous inhabitants attempted to destroy it.  This is BANANAS.
Toxic CrusadersWhat is not bananas are these delicious Corn Pops I am eating.  This is a truly nostalgic cereal for me, and one we used to get for slumber party breakfasts.  I love love love this delicious breakfast treat!  It’s crunchy and caramelly and will make your milk taste divine.  Of course, as a kid, I didn’t care much about divinity.  Sugar!  That’s where it was at.

Uh oh, Junkies.  Looks like the crew brought the alien life form with them onto the ship.  It is up to Spock to save the day as he is one hard nut to crack!  He did save the day, but with the help of the crew as they all rallied together—of course.  I did really enjoy watching this episode, and as I leave you I am going to watch a few more episodes before I call it The Weekend.  I hope you have a great Saturday morning, fellow Junkies.  Cheers to the weekend!
